I got a hold of the project file for my Lutron system, but it was created with HW Illuminations v1.32 but I was able to open the file using HWI v1.64 that is posted here in this forum.

I want to make some edits, and re-flash the project as the program is corrupt (the system works mostly, but certain lights don't respond, and when trying to extract the project via serial connection, it sends back a corrupt project).

1) is there any documentation on how to flash projects?
2) Should I update the "OS" on the processor at the same time I flash the updated project (edited in HWI v1.64)?
3) Any tips or gotchas I should be aware of when doing this?
I'm an IT guy, so comforatable flashing custom firmware on routers/webcams/etc, just never worked with (mission-critical) old Lutron devices, so want to make sure I don't brick the system end end up in a bad place. I can't seem to find any documentation on HWI update process and flashing OS, so just a bit nervous to get it right.

System Info:
I've got a single Luton h8p-d48-120 - 8 series processor that runs the lighting & shades.
