My brother's tit2 card was switched off last week when the keys rolled. I know, tit's should be auto-updating but apparently not when the prick that programmed it is charging £10 a time to reprogramme each time the keys roll.

Anyway, I was going to update the card for him myself, but my Smartmouse USB is having problems opening the card using NagraEdit 4.1. It starts off ok, then fails. The details shown are:

Opening of COM8 was successful
ATR String: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50
30 31 30 20 52 65 76 41 38 32 40
ROM Revision: 010
EEPROM Revision: RevA82
ProviderID: 54
CamID: CC CC CC CC
Using BD3 Key: 4E 69 70 50 45 72 20 49 73 20 61 20 62 75 54 74
Attempting to login to BD3
Reading ROM10 failed
Closing of COM8 was successful

Is the Smartmouse USB incompatible with the tit2 cards and if so, what should my brother buy to update this card himself in future?

You have to use Winexplorer to dump the image and insert the correct keys using Nagra and reload the image using Winexplorer.

Best card to use is the MOSC.

Cheers mate. I have run Winexplorer and get the following when reading from the card:

Trying to reset card...
Reset Successful

RX ATR : 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50 30 31 30 20 52 65 76 41 38 32 40

Timeout from 58 command

And when I execute the script:

Trying to reset card...
Reset Successful

RX ATR : 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50 30 31 30 20 52 65 76 41 38 32 40

Timeout from 58 command

Getting Cam ID for Log File

Timeout from 2A command

What next?

To dump a image from a TIT2:

I use Dynamite programmer.
Run programmer in pheonix Mode 3.68 Mhz
open winexplorer Im using 5.42
make sure its set to TitaniumCard_Nagra_settings (Configure,Program Parameters)
Click File, open Script. load saveeep.xvb
Run Script (icon is finger touching paper)
Then should ask you for your to save image type name of file then .bn10 at the end
Run NagraEdit 4.1
Load this saved image. box will ask you to select card type. I select rom 10.
A free space error message will appear. Click yes.
Click on Data Editor tab.
Read/change keys, IRD or BK.

And then use Winexplorer again but this time load the load script and run that and it will ask you for a image direct it to the new image with the updated keys.

You have to use the saveeep to take the bin10 from the card and then use nagra to edit the details, save it and use the loadeep to write the updated bin10 to the card. All the files and programs you need will be in the downloads section, make sure its the one for the forum your clicking and not the links at the top (i.e next to chat ).
