unstable VPN (surfshark)

I have two VPN accounts.
One is PIA and other surfshark.
Of recent i have been having issues with “surfshark”.
While streaming, netflix, IP*V, you-tube and so on it freezes often. Of recent it seems to getting worse.
I have changed locations many of times and issue still happens.
This “does not” happen when using PIA.
I have tested speeds on surfshark and getting around 50mbps.
Is there something im missing in the settings of the VPN?

Hey, I had a similar issue, so I contacted the customer support, and they helped me out. Basically, what they told me is that their default protocol is IKEv2, but changing it to OpenVPN UDP or TCP might resolve your issue. If it’s on your computer, you have to go: Settings -> Advanced -> Protocols. And if it’s on your iOS or Android device, you should go: Settings -> Protocols. I hope it helps.

I use cyberghost and in my case the advice was :---- Look for VPN protocol and click on the drop-down menu and select: OpenVPN ; also, please try the L2TP and/or IKEv2 protocol and test the connection at a time. Restart etc.. But i also noticed on the computer simple things like having a usb plugged in can cause confusion with the router, Never had any problems on android though.
