Hi all

I am trying to unloop a revBOD card for the first time, and have come a little unstuck can someone point me in the right direction.

I have flashed my nexus orange with newd11x flash successfully.

I have copied the winexplorer config files to the winexp directory.

I set the config in winexp to unlooper and run the rom11 unlocker script but after a few secs i get this error message

Script Error on Line 55
Variable is undefined: 'clearoutputwindow'

and the script stops running.

Any help would be appriciated.

Seems to suggest a script problem. Try another script m8.

That's an unknown command to the version of winexplorer you're using try 5.42? Alternatively, the command is just a clear screen command and can be ignore by your current version by the placement of a ' in front of every instance it appears in. Or highlight the word and delete from the script totally.

I have now installed winexplorer 5.42, but am getting this message

Sc.Read: Timeout Reading Data From Card - 2 Bytes Requested, 0 Bytes Read, Continuing Script

Script Error on Line 396
Sc.GetByte: Requested Byte Exceeds Last Read Request

Does anyone know what this means?

Also at the back of the unlooper is an electric component with a tiny screw on it, what is this for?

Config should be set to My Looper and the wee screw on a nexus - leave it alone.

have you set winex to 98 compat mode??? have you run sc10 script control first???

Cheers guys

I have run the script again after installing script control and changing the config, the script ran and i got this message

What message do you get in nagraedit?

Winexplorer wasnt running at the same time as nagraedit was it? ..if so it can conflict.

No nagra was running on its own but this is the message i got

ps any softlooped or looped card i have ever seen is a ice scrapper some ppl report fixing the card,s and taled me thorugh it but with no luck

mate what card reader u using i had the same prob with my usb infinity unlimited make sure your firmware is not the most recent 2.63 is best and u have set nagra to run in 98 oh yes when you set it up ajust the transparent boost to about 1.5 seems to help

cheers guys i am using usb infinity phoneix, just downloaded mrom but its in spanish so dont really know what to do with it is there a tut for it or maybe someone can tell me how it works cheers.

Here you go, an English language version. DON'T USE ON A CARD IF YOU NEED THE IRD AND BK!
There's one gotcha, every time you run it, it won't run again. I find editing the ini file, by deleting a digit and retyping it (or ctrl-z) then saving the ini then allows the exe to run. Don't ask why this behaves like it does, cos I don't know.
Mini tut:-
Phoenix mode 3.68, mrom in win98 compatibilty mode, as well.
Check com port in Mrom Ports menu.
Click Delays, I suggest alter them to 300, 0, 300 respectively.
Rom10 and 11 click reset, it returns camid and IRD and providerID.
Click open card, and on a rom 10 asks "This version can be unblocked directly" Click OK (not too sure on this one), perhaps avoid.
Can't use Open card on a rom11
Click Repair and it'll attempt to fix the card whether it be rom 10 or 11 on a Rom 10 click no to method 2.
May need a few goes.

Just to let you know.... the usb infinity drivers are having a real problem communicating with reading cards in pheonix mode and give false readings..... the card is probably unlocked but you will have false card readings saying it locked...... i changed and down graded to a cheap violet serial port card programmer for reading unlocked cards and get 100% reads everytime...... it only cost £12 from ebay around £15 everywhere else.... no more headaches trying to read with the usb infinites.......... it's a problem wb electronics are working on apparently!!!! : multi : : multi : : multi : : multi :

I do need the ird and bk from the card so that means i cant use mrom then.

I glitched the card again until i got

is this still softlooped or is it worse because of the "SetIFS failed"

its your usb infinity programmer mate...... its giving you false reading ...... i have a usb inifinity unlimited when using nagra 4,1 it gives the readout you stated when i changed my progammer to serial using nagra and xncs 18 all is revealed ......i.am 100% sure the cause to your problems is the usb drivers which cannot be updated as yet so i change my programmer to serial one and get no problems whatsoever ......... you need to change yours or find another way like led simm to extract the ird bk no's : multi : : multi : : multi : : multi :
