Phone Unlocking Unlocking an Iphone

Hello Digital Friends

It's been a while the last time i was here was the old Dbox dayz haha , anyhow i made a new account up and want to get back into this site e.c.t ,

A friend has an iphone 4s - it was locked on the emergency calls screen , i messed about with it now it says , Hello screen , set up language , connected to wifi , then says SIM Not Valid

Is there a quick fix ? any help would be appreciated , Thank you

1.the way i would do it , know your carrier for the device, borrow or buy a sim cheap as chips these days, place your device into dfu mode and restore in itunes, the iphone will activate if you have the sim for the phones network, it will get you passed that screen, 2.the best way if the phone isnt stolen would be get the person to call the network and pay to have it factory unlocked, but if the phone has any money owing or is stolen that wont be possible, ive look around thier are some dodgey websites offring unlocks , id stay away mate
