So i have 3 enigma 2 boxes, running openvix all have twin tuners so the choice is 8 feed universal LNB or unicable LNB to save running 6 separate cables ??

its a standard mini satellite dish pointing at 28.2 only.

anyone else have a similar setup any help would be appreciated

xtrend ET8000 and ET8500

Never used one, but just had a quick look at them and.......a splitter for each box and possibly a power inserter depending on length of run ?
Does the splitter have to be a certain kind ?

So in all the unicable LNB, 3 splitters and still 6 cables.....although only shorter runs from the splitters and maybe that power inserter.
Whichever way you swing the only advice I can give is don't skimp on cable quality and use compression fittings.......
Good luck

I have a quattro LNB connected to Spaun multiswitch, this combines the satellite signal, terrestrial signal and analogue out from cctv. Then every room can access satellite and terrestrial from one cable to each room with a wall plate splitter to provide separate DTV and sat connections. If you have more than one sat box in the room get one with loop through or add a splitter.
