unbricking a wii

is there any way of unbricking a wii, you switch it on and it gets to channel section, but thats as far as it will go if i try to soft mod it again it freezes, and if you try to play a disk copy or original it says disk is unreadable.

only way i know of is by restoring the nand via bootmi, but sounds like you cant get that far..

when i first softmodded it i made a back up and told them dont lose it, well they used the sd card for something else forgetting what was on there bloody dopes.

you can put the bootmii files back on the sd card, but you need the nand backup....

best zipping the backup up and emailing to yourself llol..

that way you cant lose it..

dont have one m8 so it looks like spare i think what about a nand from an other wii would that work.

afaik you can't use a backup from another machine..

dunno why though...
