is there anyone here who could unbrick my psp. i live in the birmingham area, i could also post if required, thanks

How did you brick it? has it got custom firmware on?

if it is fully bricked (no recovery menu via custom firmware) then a mod chip is the only way, if it's not a ta-082 that is.

or a new motherboard maybe.

either way it looks a tricky job, maybe 1 for the experts only.

it is a non ta-082 motherboard

also it had custom firmware, but i cannot access recovery, it is fully bricked, please reply if any1 knows how to unbrick it, or provides a service. thanks

Hi check my previous posts
I found a man on ebay who fitted the chip u need
But he has downed his price to £55
But i would suggest fitting a new board
Just done 2 and both work fine now
Just wish i could make the buttons work with the cover on lol

can u not get into recovery mode at all ? if u can and the files are not ther to recover psp u can still put them ther by using recovery mode and then click on TOGGLE USB then u can put correct files into psp so u can get back to 1.50 .

you can only do this if you can still fire up recovery mode ! or u`ve got a proper brick my friend :FRIGHT:

Hi again
You need to be an expert to fit that mod chip
Theres about 20 wires that need to be attatched
Not a prob you think till u see where to attatch em
The tracks on the board are like fine hairs
As i said before buy a new/used motherboard
And then fit it yourself is your best bet
To see how mod chip is fitted check here
