UltraViolet Flowers

Yeah this was on the bbc site a while ago. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Amazing how things look through the different spectrums of light.
 
lol would it help if i was actually looking up whether rats can see in colour or not when i came across it?
 
this is how bee`s and insects are attracted to flowers is it not? i watch a doc on it years ago, they basically said, ever wondered why if you wear a white Tshirt your more likely to attract insects to you, as nearly all washing powders contain chemicals which increase the whiteness whilst also making them more UV reflective (if you knwo what i mean)

Thats right, as insect see in UV and other parts of the light spectrum, unlike humans.

lmao i've been using that pic for a couple of years now, it doesn't usually generate this amount of interest

For ages I thought femalelizard was a lesbian till I found out it was a guy.

I'm pretty sure there used to be a guy who got passed off as a girl for ages a while back as well

i can confirm that Eva is definately a wummin, i met her in a pub a cuple of months back, shes a great lass with a wicked sense of humour, pity i couldnt stay longer, aw well maybe next time
