Moving house and can no longer have my ntl so will be going for a freeview box instead. Can anyone recommend a type of box and what price i'm looking at please? also is there any way of recieving any extra channels????

Thanks

i recommend the EX-iTV Nokia On-Digital Freeview Box, you can pick one up from ebay for about £20.00 (also supports TUTV)

Go for a model that gives you a weekly EPG and supports MPheg 5 (is that right?) as that will give you access to the interactive facilities like BBCi.

Also consider purchasing a model that has a CAM adapter, might be useful if you plan on purchasing a subscription service for the future (or maybe a p8rate card if and when they become available).

BTW Keep hold of your old NTL box, their worth a few bob especially if it's a Pace 1000 model...............also you never know if your new home has an existing NTL connection, you could consider making a viewing card yourself, only takes a bit of patience and the cost of a blank card and programmer, advice available here on the board.

Forgot to add have a look at this website for details on Digital Coverage for where you moving to and secondly have a look at the 'Download Schedule' for updates for particular brands of recievers..............that might narrow the field down a bit!

Yes you can pick up the REDHot TV channel (Adult), Setana Sports an online Keygen available to members here, you need to PM RedDevil to gain access to the 'Closed' Forum.
