tv tech question

hi guys , my kids tv has gone off or i should i say did not come on this morning.it looks like a power prob as the light will not come on .it,s a samsung t1-14n3f..tried new fuse and new plug.its not a switch problem as i checked the conttinueity on it and its ok. any help guys?

Sound to me like the power supply is gone. pretty obvious.

Is it a seperate power supply???
If so try a replacement with the same spec.
If not then it then it not generally too hard to change if u know a little bit bout electronics.

If there is no s/by light the problem will be in the primary side of the power supply, first two things I would do is check to see if there are any volts on the large reservoir capacitor, if there are the bleed resistors will most likely be open circuit, discharge the cap with a high value resistor and check for two high value resistors, one or both may be open, if there are no volts on the cap and the fuse is open then remove and open the posistor to see if it it cracked or burnt.
