This is the problem. I have 1 nokia and 1 sagem box that have possible faulty TV scart sockets. Is it possible instead to connect to the video first using the VCR scart socket and then from the video to the TV?.

If both scart socket are fecked, can i connect from the TV/VCR attenna on the tuner on the dbox to the tv using a normal TV to VCR cable, then just tune it in on the TV.

or shall i just set :flame: to them :flame:

The other socket on dbox tuner is only a pass through for the cable feed,so will not do want you want, if scarts are def knackered send the box back for replacement.

You can use either of the 2 scart sockets on the back of the box to connect it directly to your TV. You can also use any of the sockets to connect the box to a VCR, and then from VCR to TV. If it doesnt work either of these ways then the scarts are definately buggered.

Maybe something is wrong with your scart cable or your tv don't switch automatically to the av input.
