tut for d2 chip fitting

ive been told that the d2 chip is the best is the wright?????
were will i get one from plse??????????????
are they programed and ready for fitting into the wii????
is there a tut for this as my friend is a dab hand at soildering things as he decodes car radios and other stuff?????????

Well, you have a lot to learn.

The modchip you want depends on the D2x chipset of your Wii, this is obtainable by your serial, although not 100% accurate it gives a good indication.

Find that out D2x your Wii is, then report back (DMS/D2A/D2B/D2C/D2c2)

OR, just post the first 3 letters and 4 numbers of your Wii serial
