Tuner swap did not work.

I have a box whic is waiting for time when flashed with a backed-up working image. Therefore I tried a scan and a bruteforce scan only for the message scan finished to appear after 5 seconds. I then to my wisdom concluded the tuner was knackered and set about replacing with a known good tuner. After the operation I am getting exactly the same messages. Anyone any ideas or anything software wise it could be?

Are you also using a known working image, and is it for UK Cable use?

Check the bootlog. If the sec chip is faulty for instance a new tuner cannot solve that problem.
