Tuner Problem

Hi, I have had a Nokia Dbox2 working in my living room for almost a year. I have metered the components in Fords Diagrams(10Ohm resistor etc) and they are fine,I also bought a tuner from Muskatello on e-bay I have also tried the sportster and boxcracker images but I still have the same problem, OSD is fine but I get waiting for epg and no channels, it is looking more likely that I have bought a faulty tuner and wasted £35, has anybody got any suggestion on what I could possibly try next ? I am also going to try the Zogre image now. TIA

i have found that waiting for time is not always a tuner problem could be the board itself has some sort of hardware fault
