hey guys,

I have been trying to clone VMDG480 and I followed the instractions on https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/cable-modems-671/415708-cloning-vmdg480.html I followed and uploaded the file by locating backup/ restore and browse to the 480 r37 r30 downgrade folder, and select rev37.cfg, the modem reboots and then i launch VMDG hubtool , when I click on downgrade to r19 on the tool, I get series of errors like below and when I try to telnet the modem it shows connection refused, I am suspecting that I get the error on the hubtool because telnet is not enabled, please help I pasted the hubtool logs below

hello mate, I am trying to get the certs from my subbed 480 but I wanted to downgrade the one to be cloned first before i play around with the live one. i read on the forum it can be done but I am stuck on this possible telenet issue, and i would appreciate if one of the guys on here can help

sounds to me you havn't opened your tftp programme with r19.bin as the target file to upload.....or your trying to upload the wrong bin file.i had to read the 480 downgrade tutorial a few times to realise that image1.bin was actually the r19 file so had to rename it for the hubtool to recognise it
