Trouble saving good satfinder settings

Hi guys,completely new to this set up.
Earlier today i searched Astra 28.2 and managed to download lots of channels.

My problems are ive reflashed since then and cant remember or what sequence i scanned to get all the fta channels and Sky channels.

At present only getting about 120 channels yet earlier over 1100 i managed to find.

Tried so many ways but cant manually scan for channels and save when ive a good signal.

Trawled the forums for answers and guides and cant find anything to help me.

While on a fta channel on 28.2e go to menu-setup-satellite installation-Automatic Satellite search
then chose Astra 28.2e from the drop down box
it should start searching and then tell you it found a valid transponder, then press green to start scan

Thanks mate,not sure if thats my set up or not ive a Dreambox 800 hd clone.
