does anyone know if it is possible to move or share programs from one user account to another ? an unused account has a cd burner and i would like to move it to another account on the same pc .

yea 0n xp m8 i don't know witch account is admin (maybe both)but can fully access both
before i tell u a load of stuff u might not need to do.
can u not just make a new shortcut on the desktop of the account that u want to use ? in many cases the program is not user dependent its just the account u want to use just doent have a shortcut ?
right click on desktop choose new then shortcut and when u are asked for file browse to nero.exe for example then click ok and u shoud be ok. If u are not sure of the location log on as the other user and rightclick the icon and in the entry for target it will tell u were to browse on your desktop when u are setting up the browser.
if this dont work u are best copying the desktop from 1 user to the other.

no joy m8 says "cyberlink power2go can not be found"
ok if u set the shortcut the same as the other user account and it didnt work then.
open c:\document and settings
open the folder with the user name u want to copy from and go to start menu, programs and find the link for the program u want then copy that link to the start menu of the user account u want to use.
then using start button and all programs try and start the program on the account u want

Your program should be installed in the following directory:
c:\program files\cyberlink\program name
when you are in your username, just go in there and click on the .exe for that program.
This will only work of course if the original installation was in default path.
