Misses has a 15 plate 1 series which has run flats and Im 99.999% sure TPM sensors in each wheel (stems are metal and not rubber). Recently the iDrive has reported Tyre Pressure Monitor (RDC) although a friend with access to AutoData states it hasn't got the sensors in and its pulling the data from the ABS sensors.
I was wondering if anyone can link me to a cheap gadget to check which\if there are sensors in the wheels at all and also if we wanted to remove the sensors what is the process. Im guessing if the valves were just taken out then the car would always moan and so an ECU reprogram would be required?
