Same as RAT. spent all day, still no joy. everything goes ok untill I input my device ID and save it, but it doesnt produce the UK ROI dct file. There is a meta file for the UKROI map.

How do i produce the dct version so I can copy into the relevan folder. When I switch satnav on it comes up with activation error.

Please can someone help me to produce the dct file with my unique id.

sam make sure the TTN7 folder is on ya C drive

I have done this on C:/My documents/navigo folder, still no joy,cant produce the dct file
should there be a U-K-R-O-I-14 327kb meta file in theTNN7 folder?

Take out your sd card and open up ttnavigator.bif on the root of your sd card. Look up the Device ID on it. It is found on the line beginning "DeviceUniqueID=". (This should be a 10 digit code).

then ope the C drive right click and edit the Edit, Save, Open.bat
C:\TTN7\tt7_keygen.exe "C:\TTN7" "XXXXXXXXXX" xxx is your ID

double click to open this should the open a new file United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-14.meta
copy that to your maps folder

Sorrt to b a pain the rs, I have done this. When I turn the Navigation on it comes up with this message

ACTIVATION FAILED, SORRY THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT ACTIVATION CODE FOR THIS PRODUCT "UNITED_KINGDOM AND REPUBLIC OF IRELAND" . After this mesaage comes saying not enough memeory for tomtom.

When i open the TNN7 this file United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-14.meta already exists there. I followed your above instruction, entered my id , save it and then double click Edit,save,open.bat ... nothing happens.

just a note on the gps set up on this.
It apears to differ on one model. The ver 1 navigo with the external antenna output. It needs to be set on other nmea on com 1 with a baud rate of 9600 to work. Other models seem to work on com7 with the higher baud rate(default). Unsure why this is different but for some reason this model does not support com 7

No it doesnt. I have put it on all 3 types with no probs.

Have a look at iGo or MioMap. They work just as well.

What problems are you getting with TomTom?

I got mine working last night after help from Rob. I could not produce the UKROI14.dct file on my lappy. I gave Rob my ID and he produced file , sent it via email, I put it in the appropiate folder and presto it works perfectly now. Tried it this morning on the way to work.

Thanks to all lads espicially Rob who helped me to get it up and running.

im trying to do this on a tytnii ? ive got the actual program on there but its showing no maps, have downloaded part one and part 2 of the uk maps too. working on it now if anyone has any solutiosn?
