I think you just copy the postcode files to the GB map folder, extract them first and it should just work... I dont really use the postcode feature myself to be honest

There should be a folder called Zip, put the postcode files in there

I have 2 files in there, Great_Britain.Postal and Great_BritainPostal.ver

Once done, don't need to do anything, its installed!.

I can also vouch that 6.60 map
works fine with TT5
only thing i found was the poi may be a little out
saw a petol station on the road next to mine
but theres never been 1 there well not in the last 20+ years

I have searched everywhere for this one... and finally found it.

So I thought I should share it, since alot of people are searching for it...

This is the UIQv3 version of TomTom 6.02 (For Sony Ericsson P990i, m600i, etc)

Just copy it to the root of the memorycard and go to the configuration menu to install the software on the device. After the installation is completed, you can select and run the program from the regular menu.

Use the included keygen to activate the maps for TT6. Only Guam map is included to activate the software. Other maps are available as torrents from this site. Just make sure you have enough memory available on the memorystick.

This one is tested on a SE P990i.

Ive Managed to get TomTom V6 working on my dads. its probly wrote somewhere in this thread, but you can use TOMTOM V5 Maps with it. i found out. and V6 is a right bitch to install. took me hours to get my head around it

Using version 5 maps might be why yours is crashing though... Please try the latest maps, I think they are in this thread

hi i have installed the software & great britain maps on my phone. when i try to run it on my phone it's asking for activation code. i have tried to get the activation key as per instruction. it says the activation keys is not correct.

the following key i do get : 7JQXQ KDRWC AH8XJ
CAN ANY BODY HELP ME TO SOR THIS OUT PLS. AM TYING TO PUT THIS ON NOKI A E50.

Ok first off which phone are you using and what kind of equipment do you have, memory card reader or data cable???

If your using version 6 for phones like the N73 (e.g New Phones)
Then you need TomTom Mobile Version 6.01
and the Maps

1, Extract everything to a folder on your PC, if you have all the files right in this folder you should have the following:-

Postcode (folder)
raster (folder)
tomtom (folder)
voices (folder)
UK_and_IE_plus_major_roads_of_WE-Map (folder)

TomTom.Mobile.v6.01.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.sis

2, Format your phones memory card so it has nothing else left from previous versions that failed to install, format from the phone not on the PC

3, Copy everything above onto the memory card

4, Insert Memory Card into the phone and go to "File Manager" on the Phone navigate to the Memory Card

5, Locate file TomTom.Mobile.v6.01.S60v3.SymbianOS9.1.sis and click on this on the phone, this should install TomTom

Process should be the same mate and you will need the same version of TomTom on both
