tomtom go 510

sorry if this is only for pda's but not sure where to ask.

I have just brought me a tomtom go 510 with uk and europe maps which is great but i have downloaded some usa maps to use on my holiday this year but it asks for an activation code, is there any way to get round this thanks.

dont want to spend a fortune on florida map for only 2 weeks

iam no sure got the tomtom one i tryed to put another map on it and it frozze no sure abt the codeu no get a code with it when u got it activate it then put the map on it maybe worth a go

well you need 2 codes first to recieve a ACTIVATION code

Your device has a Unique code (DEVICE CODE)
and
the Map Pack should also have a code Written on it (PRODUCT CODE)
then
you enter these two codes On the TTcode.com site to obtain your ACTIVATION code


Finding your DEVICE CODE (should be somewhere in the manual or...) you can
disconnect all acessries tap the GpsMeter/BatteryInfo area then tap the version number.

Finding your PRODUCT Code this would usually be on the additionally purchased MAPpack, i assume it would be there im not sure as I have a PPC tomtom.But since you downloaded a Map pack (from torrents or whatever) you might find it in a text file (.NFO) or look within the downloaded file for a keygen or something.
