New BETA image available through update panel. Only stuck it on quickly and still didn't look like Wi-fi was working. Will try again later when got more time
 
Wifi is not working yet m8, the public release will be out later today
 
Doh, why release a Beta the same morning?
 
they were both released last night m8, i have a list of whats fixed that will be made public as well, if its not on the list, ITS NOT BEEN FIXED in this release :(
 
where i can find these soft? Ican't get it over LAN. I will test it here in Germany.

can you recording encrypted channels with this release?? thats all i am bothered about at the moment after this brilliant forum sorting the epg and time

yep i can see it now dont know what happen there then :) so its bad then this beta image?? i saw your comment and your box green screening - not a good start from TM. All i would love this box to do is record encrypted channels then im happy
 
YMMV mate, but I've taken it back off and resorted to the last one. :)
 
ive removed the posts that say how to get this image, as this image is open for testing, and prone to green screening, the public image has the bits that cause green screens disabled so is a lot more stable

the tm800 gets enough of a slating without people complaining that an image thats clearly marked as beta doesnt work as expected :)

Open for testing.
Prone to green screening.

Is it too much to expect that buttons which were previously working on an earlier Beta build are suddenly green screening the box?

Another step in the wrong direction.
 
nothing is wrong witchy (as yet) as nothing is released :)

Right guys i have tried flashing a backup via usb and miniroot niether way works for me. I get nothing on mine nor rats backup image. And digi's gets stuck on spinning cogs after the spalsh screen.

Im seriously starting to wonder if there is a problem with my reciever. Ive done factory resets, ive flashed it after a clean flash of the ur image. Im stumped as to why i can not boot any backup image at all.
 
the boot sectors of these receivers isnt known yet m8, so playing with 'backup' images is all untested waters, if you were to create your own backup, its work on your receiver every time

as long as the UR releases work, id say theres not a problem with it

i have the same issue with the latest HDF release, no matter what i try, it just wont work, ive tried EVERY way possible of flashing it onto it
