add this line between the sectionsd and the timerd

. /etc/profile

so it looks like this

sectionsd
. /etc/profile
timerd

can you put that in simple terms please ??? where are all these in the dbox or when i connect dbox to putta

FTP to the box using your normal client
Navigate to the /etc/init.d folder
Copy the start_neutrino file to your PC and open with wordpad
Add the following line...

. /etc/profile

so it looks like this...

sectionsd
. /etc/profile
timerd

Save the file and ftp it back to the /etc/init.d folder.
Reboot box

could someone copy and paste the folder on here and just tell me where to put it as this is way over my head

ok ..the profiles did not work for me..
this is how i got it to work....
flashed sportster 1.10 on there.. ( time went correct almost instantly )
i then flashed back on my commando 7.5..
hey presto...correct time.
weird huh

Commando 7.5 excw 1 hour behind here also, seems its the commando7.5 boxes?

Lucky you i tried the same with commando 6. time was correct copied entire etc folder to compare. flashed 7.5 again and time back to an hour late.

I guess it is commando 7.5
this is my profile

# timezone, only applicable for middle europe
export TZ=CET-1CEST,M3.5.0/2,M10.5.0/3

and I am not one but two hours behind.... I was one hour behind yesterday as it was my first day with commando 7.5 and could not fix the time for my locale.. GMT+1

by the way tried modifying the start file but it seems it is read only...

i tried the above i found 2 /etc/init.d files 1 had
rcs.local
start local
start_automount

the other had
start_automount
halt
rcs
start
but no start_neutrino so im still 1 hour behind using commando 7.5

I thought as an experiment I'd change the timezone in the profile from -0 to +1 and now the box wont boot at all just sticks at the Commando start up screen, doesnt respond to the remote and I cant FTP into it. O'hh b*gger...anyone know how do I get the thing back!! help!
