i'd much prefer a cute, cuddly little puppy!

one question, my cat is female, would it make a difference if the puppy is male or female to her accepting it? The last dog we had was a male, and they got on fine.

Nah, male or female would be fine. The cat will be either curious or ignore it.

I took our dog to my mums but she was terrified Sam would eat her dog, they were fine, but our dog is huge and hers is a wee monster. He nipped Sam's ankles. lol.
