The Image Backup Process

Hi everybody,
could someone answer this for me please.

When you have got the image that you are happy with on your dbox2
,
mines (1.75uk) and the Bouquets & are all sorted & your channels & stuff are exactly how you want them,

If you do do a backup thru the

services menu
image/backup restore
flash read/write
read whole image,

then copy this image onto your computer desktop


does this copy the image you have on the box, including all the bouquet files that you have created , so technically after you flash this image to another box, it would require no addtional scans & stuff?
 
You must NOT read the whole image...just ONE partition. Write one partition > flash without bootloader.

Yes, this will copy everything including the services and bouquets.

nearly m8 but not write read like this m8


software update expert functions. read one partition > flash without bootloader.


and it will be in you tmp folder then transfer to pc m8

If i was wanting to at a later date try a couple of different images,

would i just copy the services.xml & bouquets from the zappit folder,

save them onto my computer, and install them back to there, if a new image was installed
