Hi guys! got my ROM 10 up and running yesterday!

So thanks to everyone who helped me on DW!

Top guys!



Anyway, here's what I did:

I purchased an unlocked ROM 10 from fleabay for about 10 quid (this saved me getting the t911 progger)

I got the relevant files from the download section.

I used nagra edit 3.0.

I put my infinity usb unlimited in phoenix mode 3.68.

I changed the options in nagra edit to make it rom 2 and not rom 1 cos my laptop doesn't have rom 1 for some reason.

I went to open card image, and opened the NTL image I got from DW downloads beforehand. I selcted ROM 10 when prompted and the image was successfully opened.

I went into data editor and put in my BK and IRD numbers.

I then saved the image as 'my rom'.

I then wrote to the card using nagar edit.

That's it! Job done! Hope my mini guide to programming a rom 10 will be helpful to others. Credit goes to the top guys on the forum!

Well done that man,

Hope you can help me out.

When I attempt to write the image to the card i get an error saying

"back door key 0 is invalid. Do you want to continue (not recomended)"

With a yes/no option.

Any ideas?

yeah mate. just continue. it asked me the same thing.

it should write then.

i had to do go through it twice - first time it said write to card unsuccessful. second time, it was successful.

also, is your card unlocked?

Just to confirm, does the ird go in forwards or backwards?
