I have an SPV M3100 Windows Mobile 5 phone. With my old Nokia I was able to send a text from the PC when the phone was connected by bluetooth.

Does anyone know of a way to do this on Windows Mobile?

Thanks.

My mate was doing this to me today. So ill try to find out how he did it

When my friend sends me text files from his PDA he opens the PDA word thing, and then does save as a .txt file. He then bluetooths this on to me, which my phone can read.

Is that what you were asking to know?

No not quite.

I want to be able to write a message on my pc, and send it by sms message to someone. Rather than using a web based service, I'd like it to get sent from my phone. Does that make more sense?

If you computer has bluetooth you can probably just bluetooth it to your mobile, and then send it one as a sms.

Alternately you could use a USB cable?

But you would probably have to write it in a .txt format on your computer (as in, notepad format)
