Technomate 1500 and Digitalb

I'm currently using a Digitalb sport card in my Technomate 1500,

Am I right in thinking that soon Digitalb sport cards wont work in Technomate 1500 due to the pairing situation?

only for the HD channels, by the looks of it digitalb knows that the EU and UK market for their cards are all into HD, so to make more money from us they have done this, as most albanian homes aint even got widescreen tellys (which is why most broadcasts are 4:3, i read this somewhere but cant remember where) its not really for the benefit of the albanian masses that theyre doing this
