Hey guys,
bit confused atm.
What is the difference between the skystar 2, skystar 2 hd, and skystar S2 ?

i need a cheap tuner that will be able to recieve the hd channels provided by sly.

any help will be much appreciated,

Afaik, the S2 has a somewhat different demodulator to accomodate the S2 datastream. The 2 and 2HD differ only in the software supplied, the 2HD package also containing a HD capable software codec (for installation on your PC).

so the S2 is a dvb-s2 tuner and i'll need it to recieve high definition streams?
