Sun Editor Arrested For Assault Thursday November 3, 01:25 PM The Sun editor Rebekah Wade has been arrested for allegedly assaulting her husband, EastEnders actor Ross Kemp.She is in police custody and Kemp, who plays a hardman in the soap, is said to have a cut lip.Sky News' Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt said police went to their home in south London at 4am this morning.
"The allegation is that she assaulted her husband. He is sporting a cut lip," Brunt said.
Kemp is thought to be carrying on his work at television studios after recently returning

Wade is still in custody and police plan to question her today.
The couple have been together for some years and married in Las Vegas in 2002.
Wade has been editor of The Sun newspaper for four years before which she edited The News of The World.
Brunt added: "It will be cause for some embarrassment. As editor, she has campaigned against domestic violence."
Ms Wade had been due to attend the 50th Women of the Year Lunch this afternoon at the Guildhall in central London.
