suggestion about vod

im in teeside area and my box has now changed to filmflex obvioulsly you cant watch ppv movies as you cant access on demand but prem plus and porn still have there own seperate channel so if you go to the channel you can buy them still ive tryed and it works these are still classed as ppv so if there was a way to quickly get into the ondemand section do ya think we would still be able to purchase films

At the moment it's only affecting the old on demand ppv channels but who knows how long it is before other channels change as well?

For now i can see some of the more sort after channels going vod. I think this would probably exclude all the sky channels because that would allow NTL to offer a service like sky+ (STB's allowing) and I can't imagine sky allowing that .... I suspect they'll come up with some other nasties to get around the bandwidth problem .....

yeah its jsut the movies ya cant buy !! but least peopl will still have the football

you dont need to buy the porn or footie channels, just enter the channel number direct ,ie,814 835, 836 ect

you still have to buy them you have to press red and it costs a fiver u must be using a fun card or something to just enter the channel number!!

you can also get the ppv sports on other channels when there on it just comes thriugh the feed

sky cannot stop ntl from putting the movies and the sport 1,2,3 channels on ppv as sky doesn't own them, they rent the channels same as ntl but sky pay more to put there logo's on each channel so NTL might just do that in the future.
