Stuck at 'Boot DVD' on Config Disc

Hopefully someone can explain?

I have been through the steps with 1.9s (although stated 'press any key' and I had to reset wii because wii remote did not operate.)

I have read that if you do not have a gamecube controller you press 'a' on the wii remote, but it seems to be inoperable.

How to I click 'Boot DVD' from config diics menu without wii remote???

Sorry just realised I need a Gamecube controller cos i'm using GCOS!

My config disc does not read on the wii, can anyone pm me for the correct config file or direct me to one.

For anyone with this problem, you have to use the reset button to navigate
