i'm struggling to get the AdvancedSettings.xml to make a difference any chance someone could post a properly edited version ? :)

the format u posted a couple of posts back was right mate, if its not making a difference, best bet is, its not that we need to look at. i still cant find anywhere in the source off sourceforge where xbmc talks to the tuxbox. if anyone knows please post here......

also english mate, found this about the xml file.... http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/forum/showpost.php?p=122835&postcount=84

have you tried using the gemini 3.3 (not 3.4) image? seems to be ok with that, could be the dw image?

got a reply for the guy i think wrote the actual app, got the source code but he doesnt use the triggers that im using in my c# app, sent him a reply about something, will keep browsing thou.

probably over the weekend, ive put my phd on hold for 2 days now lol.

still not streaming right ... i'm using a dodgy ish ethernet lead tho so will have a look at using another one :) and i have tried loads of images ...

here is the Dreambox script for Xbmc (ftp the folder over into e/apps/xbmc/scripts ... then click the arrow in the bottom right corner in xbmc ,then select scripts .... then Dreambox TV)

have a play with it lol it's great but not quite there yet

you have to input how many megabytes to record to ur xbox hd and choose a path to save the files .. picture can go blocky and sound out of sync on recording and streaming. when you record it turns the display and sound off ..

if it crashes or stream fails just reboot ur xbox it will be back to 'normal' and still able to connect to DB
