Up to episode 3 now, views as ST:TNG crossed with a tad of Indiana Jones, still undecided

It's taken it's time getting going, the first 3 have been basically been setting up the story to me. Hopefully now the are heading into space it will get going, once they have collected a few more ship mates.

Looks good to me the first 3 episodes were to be expected. I think it has been done well.

The one word at the end of episode 3 "Engage".

Im not too impressed with it. A few things annoy me about it.

1). The thick Irish accents on the romulans servants Picard has.
2). They keep calling Data a synthetic when all along ST canon he was called an android.
3). Its nearly impossible to tell who is romulan or human. Bring back the green ones. This is suppose tp be due to copyright as CBS don't own all the rights.
4). It is very slow and not much is happening. I preferred the old format where each episode in most cases have a unique story arch.

Regardless of the above I am still going to watch it hoping it improves.

I don't understand all the negativity. Like Ferret, I've enjoyed it so far.

As for, 'Not much is happening' , are we watching the same program?

Looked a bit commie/Lefty political for the first 10 min but ok after that.

Yes i noticed it too. But after first two episodes the story line was brilliant. I hope they dont f it up

tbh I find it a bit slow ... but then given his age you can't expect battle scenes ... more like battle of the zimmer frames

I guess the slow entry allows for some backstory to the new characters but it better get a bloody move on this week or I will complain it wasn't worth the torrent download
