were my broadband comes into the house there is another connection labeled fm next to it can this be used to run to a box or will i have to buy a splitter

hello mate- FM is your radio feed. If you buy a splitter- make sure it is..sometimes attenuators are mistaken for splitters. Attenuators reduce the signal by a set amount, eg 6dB, 15dB etc. Bascially if it has a dB value stamped on it then it is an attenuator..apologies if I am stating the obvoius :)

Am pretty sure you can use the fm output as it's a splitter on the inside of the box.... try it and it will either work or not, it won't do any harm....

a splitter will lose signal anyway.... usually for a 2 way splitter it's 3db, but that doubles to 6db for 3 an 4 way....

if you need a splitter look for one with the lowest loss across it...

just wanted to know before i buy a splitter i might not need thanks anyway guys
