I converted a couple of movies from mp4 to avi using ConvertXtoDVD. I can't remember if i burned them to disc using ConvertX or used ImgBurn, sorry.

Anyway the sound seems to go funny every few minutes, like there's a second or two of a gap in it, could i be burning too fast or what's it likely to be? :err:

It's been exactly the same on two movies now.

Ok so i converted another movie using convertxtodvd again, and the sound was perfect on this one. I think the problem was the blank dvd's i was using, they were the last two out of a batch of 100 and had been sitting around for quite a while, so they might have been damaged in some way.

Anyway used different dvds this time and the sound came out perfect!

And btw it just burned straight to disc from convertx, i should have remembered that! doh

No, i have used Nero for a couple of years, i just haven't got around to installing it on my laptop, its on the other pc. ConvertX is better for converting mp4's to avi, i'm not sure if Nero does that or not, i don't think it does.
