Sorry to annoy you all, but I am like some of the other fourm members in that I have spent hours & Hours looking for a post in how to get your ird or box key from the enginers menu and then through windows calulator

Boot box into eng menu and look for "nagra serial code" and you will see beside it a 12 digits number. Take the first 10 digits of this number and type it into windows calculator then press the hex button. This gives you your IRD.

or you could take the lid of your box and where your scart goes in theres a sticker on top with your ird printed on it
