someone to fix my DB

Hi,
After trying (unsuccessfully) to re-flash and program my DB 500c I'm looking for someone in the Glasgow area I can take it to or they can come to me, I cannot access the tuxbox commander on the remote, both the blue key and dream key are not operating and I need to change the keys to the latest settings.

why not use dreamup with only the null cable and flashed the dw2.1 which already has the new au and that will sort it out.

Can you explain what I would need to do, I tried the dreamup program but I only have the ethernet cable and couldn't get it to connect.

there is guides and tuts in the downloads mate its very straight forward you just need a serial null modem and a serial port

NULL modem cable from pcworld or maplins (MUST BE NULL MODEM - NOT RS232)
You have dreamup, now get the DW2.1 image (which has the rom fixes in it so you dont need to enter keys manually anymore)

And job done.

i used 9 pin lead from pc to dream box500c and flashed dw 2.1 with dreamup it worked.

id say grab a null modem cable so in future you can do new image
