Hi Folks
Back in December I read an article - well a few of these where some individuals bought a PS3 and connected third party cables etc to their PS3.
Their PS3 then died. They rang up SONY to try and get it fixed or replaced via the warranty (as you get 2 years warranty on the machine!) and they turned around and refused to replace or fix the machine as the component cables (i think in one case it was a third party HDMI cable) were not SONY approved.
So....if you guys have any problems like this and you ring SONY up to get your PS3 fixed or replaced, PLEASE DON'T SAY YOU USED THIRD PARTY COMPONENTS!
Just thought I'd help out.
