Can anyone recommend a decent accident claims Solicitor to take over an accident claim a family member is going through at the moment. I've told her to go elsewhere as the one she's with is doing nothing bar delaying and not responding to emails and this is 3 years in.

I cannot go into to much details but It's a cut and dry case with no contest from the 3rd party but the claim is all based on the medical side of things and its basically come to a halt with no movement for over 14 months and no replies to emails. All medical treatment has ended and letters gone in from specialist November 2017. Telephone calls are met with "She's out the office at the mo I will pass your message on and tell her to call you back" but nothing.

And this is a big one with no names mentioned of course

I personally would start with speaking with The Law Society of England and Wales, put your case to them and ask them to investigate.

That normally puts the wind up your solicitor to pull the old finger out.

But they can give you all the information you need.

hope that helps

I told my relative to request a call back from a supervisor on the department as they would like to know how they go about taking the claim elsewhere (just to shit em up) .
Within a day they got a call back and I wrote down what questions to ask. I'm not sure if this will have an affect on the claim only time will tell so hopefully things might start to move again and if not they will go local. These big Solicitors are a waste of space. No one knows what the other persons doing and bigger claims go to the for front.

I will still recommend logging a complaint with the Law Society, as they have to report back to them with answers.
