sniffer in config page,

i have disabled this as think this is the cause for my speeds changing from 2mb, 4mb, 10mb

is this true, or shall i enable it. thanks

sniffing is exactly what it says its doing... sniffing only ur config file affect ur speed

glad this topic came up i have a question ?

I used the sniffer last night to look for a 10 meg config file for this kid and it came back with one like this

62.31.XXX.XXX cm-10240-384

Now when he used DHCP force to find me one he gave me

00407B7BXXXX 10.XXX.39.88 cm-10240-384

i take it the 1st part is the mac addy and the rest the i.p addy and then the last part is what it is, i.e a 10 meg file.

Question is, do i just need 62.31.XXX.XXX cm-10240-384 or do i need the one with the mac addy to change my config file.

(i have been using a config file for about 2 years and ecided to change it after some advice)

all u need m8 is this cm-10240-384 and any mac and that will give u 10mb
