Smart TV for Christmas

Any tv i buy i would be looking for a longer warranty,my local says 1 year their competitor offers 5 year and best of all is Richersounds with 6 year coverage.How many users of Samsung and Lg have had issues after 5 years.My friends Samsung went after 5 years and techie said not worth repairing.Most tvs i have are 10 years+

That looks strange, can you stop the payment? the LG tv you linked to is too cheap, it's £300 everywhere, Richer sounds give a 6 year warranty, you would be better off paying the extra and buying from them TBH.

Forgot to mention this yesterday.
Think it is important If you decide to run smarters on the TV. On my sony android TV running smarters it is best to turn on HW within the app. You will see slightly better picture on TV and is not as jittery on streams.
Same applies to any device connected to TV.
