Download the attached ipk file and ftp it to /tmp of your reciever

Installation:

Telnet command

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

Hi Chabs I clicked on that Dropbox link and it led me to a file directory, do I need to ftp those files to my box? If so which folder do I put them in please? Do you have a link to an ipk file for virtualzap which I can install easily?

Create a folder called:

VirtualZap

Copy all the files and folders in the dropbox to the VirtualZap folder you created.

Then ftp the VirtualZap folder and its contents to:

usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/extensions

Restart Enigma2

Then Go to Plugins and VirtualZap

Select use it with left and right or up and down

Select Yes to Picons

Yes to PIP

Restart Enigma 2

Epg only shows 1.5 hours as no more room...
With a little touching up you have a winner here..

Looking really good except graphical EPG does look squashed as mentioned earlier by others.

Also, the import AutoTimer screen (using Vix 4) is all blank where I'm expecting it to display details of programme I'm trying to create an autotimer for...

Just tried this on zgemma running pli 4.0 itstall and worked perfect, but unable to select any other skin after all I was getting was greens screen of death and box rebooted tried 3 tines did same thing had to flash backup on box.

Yeah mate. I am working on all the fixes. Thanks for the compliment.

I am noting down all the issues so as to get a fix for them in the next update.

I have fixed the problem with the skin selection screen as well as the message box aplet issue for Pli

Try adjust the aspect ration with your tv remote and it will be sorted.

It's okay I've just checked official tvguide and it looks same as that.

What I meant was that it doesn't look quite right the way goes off screen with only a short time scale shown but this is how it is on official tv guide.

skin is not bad but 9.09 MB too much, it should reduce the graphic

Thing is most receivers can now cope with these big file sizes
Older receivers will struggle

so it is, and I know because myself am busy with skin,,,a tip for colleague:
are so many tools to reduce without loss kvalitet,,,
an example image he has of 1.1 MB is what incredibly, had i reduced to 218 kb :Cheers:

Ftp the ipk file to /tmp of your box

Then go to setting and install ipkg

Reboot your box and go settings and skin settings and select it from there then restart GUI..
