SkyQ Skin V1.5

Download the attached ipk file and ftp it to /tmp of your reciever

Installation:

Telnet command

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

Reboot Your Box

OpenATV

Menu... setup... software management... install local extension
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install
Reboot Your Box.

OpenVIX

Menu > setup > VIX > Iplkg install
memory/tmp
Press ok on the package
press green to install
Reboot Your Box

Once it has installed you need to set it as your skin.

(OpenATV)

Menu... setup... Usage & GUI... skin setup.
Restart GUI

(OpenVIX)

Menu...setup...System...user interface...skin setup.
Restart GUI

SkyQ Preview Channel Picons:

Download and Extract the attached SkyQ Preview.rar file (click on the dropbox link)

Dropbox - SkyQ Preview.rar

Create a folder name SkyQ either in your media/usb or media/hdd or /hdd or usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ location of your reciever

Copy the downloaded folder named picon to media/hdd or /hdd or media/usb or usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ

Picons

Download and Extract the attached Picons.rar file (click on the dropbox link)

Dropbox - Picons

Copy the folder named picon to /hdd or /usb or /root of your receiver

About:



The Skin is Based on Open Pli but it should work well with most other images. I can confirm it also works well with Open ATV.

Feel free to try it on other images (please back up your image first before installation). Do post here if it works well with other images.

hiya, I have just tried it with 1.5 but still cant get it working.

the instructions that you list are not the same as I have on my box.

anyone using OpenATV 5.3. after i have watched a recording and go back to watch TV the box resets/reloads then is fine, only does this using this skin, anyone any ideas?

I have this installed on a ZGemma S Open ATV 5.3 - noticed the skin image isn't very sharp - the fonts don't look very clear but blurry - I have confirmed in AV it is set to HDMI

Any other tweaks I need to do to get the skin to look sharp

looks fine on my tv which is 65" so if it was the skin im sure it would show more on a larger screen . left video setup as simple and 1080p

The only problem is with openvix ,vix does not do anything in the plugin menu

Its been awhile since I changed my skin. From what I remember on vix FTP the ipk file into tmp.
Then go to settings and skin setup with remote. You should see it there. When you select it your box will rebootGUI so you will need to restart cam after.

You need to unrar that file and ftp the picon file to skyq folder
