was chatting to a pal yesterday and we both wondered why it can't be done? we know it can't of course. is there a way to get the usual shedload of free channels using a sat dish?

You need to invest in a motorised dish and a Technomate receiver. There are plenty of packages open at the moment on various satellites.

basic answer is that the encryption has not been creacked and if it was then sky would invest in a new encryption and send new cards out to all customers as they did before.
