SKY octo lnb

i'm getting there slowly. thanks for the previous replies and help..
ive got hold of a new 85cm solid dish and just picked up a technomate 1500ci+...so nearly ready to wire it up..one question is i have a brand new sky octo lnb. can i use this on my new dish?? or do i have to get a 0.2db universal one??and this box has come with a viaccess card with it.. i assume its no longer valid, if so can i re-program it???

SKY LNB have different collar diameters.
There are adaptors to use non SKY LNBs on a SKY dish, but I doubt there's a market for the other way round.

See if you can do a bit of DIY.

any 'sky' quad or octo lnb will fit into a normal dishes standard 40mm collar. they are shipped with a special collar to allow them to fit onto a sky minidish, undo the screw and take it off, and its then a standard sized LNB for use with any dish
