Routers Sky hub - Can I ugrade it?

I use Sky for phone & broadband, no fibre here (yet) so using the "Sky Hub" modem/router they provided. It's shite! 2 ethernet ports, no guest network etc. etc. though to be fair the wifi coverage isn't too bad.
Someone local is advertising an Asus modem/router but I don't know the sign-in (username, password) to connect to the DSL network. (I can't see it in the modem's UI). Does anyone know if Sky will give me those details or am I stuck with my present setup?

I have seen something about wireshark before snooping the username and details.

A quick google foud this for VDSL, not sure if it works or not for ADSL but worth a shot

Thank you for the 'find', no reason I can see that this won't work for ADSL too, interesting app too!
I've not bought the modem yet, it's only £20 so probably worth a punt.
