Virgin Bootlogo

TO INSTALL BOOTLOGO:

  1. Extract .mvi file(s) from within the relevant attached .rar file
  2. FTP the extracted files to "/usr/share"

That's it. On next reboot, bootlogo will be shown.

If you are using OpenPLI, OpenVix or any of the OE-A images, best to put files in /etc/enigma2

That way they will be included in backups/restores (when applicable) and will not be overwritten by system updates.

Do these logos work on latest version of OpenVix ( 4 2 023) ?

Thanks.

Yes.

Bootlogo's should work on all enigma2 based images

How do you make .mvi files ?

Can you make them from any image ? What size does it have to be ?

I'm new to custom boot logos and the sorts, but is it possible to make an animated boot logo?

Dont think virgin is working for anyone and wonder why one wants one now.
