Silly Question But? Resetting Sammy 2100C

Hi all,

I need to reset my sammy to change netid, someone told me i can do it by shorting the battery with a wire?

How is this done, where do i touch the wire to?

Didnt wanna kill it thats all!!

There is a green lithium battery in the box. Take a piece of wire and touch one side of the wire to the silver contact on the battery and the other end of wire to the other side of the battery. Hold wire touching both sides for about 10 seconds and that should be it.

yeah its that easy. Once done just check your netid is 09999, and if it is then you have done it correctly.

n make sure the box is unplugged n the wire is only bare at the touching ends

exactly what ice said, I just used some old speaker wire
